Anthony Giannuzzi Obituary
September 11, 1942 - May 8, 2017
Born in Syracuse, New York
Resided in Morgan Hill, CA
Family was everything to Anthony and his greatest joy. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Olympia Ann Giannuzzi; his children Anthony Jr., Mary Ann, and Michael Giannuzzi; his grandchildren Brittany Giannuzzi and Annalise Wentworth; and his siblings Jack Giannuzzi and Veronica Medley-Daus. Each will forever carry forward the strength, happiness and lessons he taught them.
Anthony achieved his PhD in Metallurgy from Syracuse University and after a few years of working for General Electric, he started his company, with three other friends, called Structural Integrity Associates. It has become a renowned major company providing engineering and other technological services to industry. For many years Anthony has been a valued and respected participant on code committees of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, where he provided essential input during the development of highly technical repair methods important to industry. He freely and generously contributed his knowledge and experience for the benefit of others, whom he often mentored, helped and befriended. Anthony's contributions will long be appreciated, and he will be missed and remembered by those who knew him.
